The project included a new kitchen, bathroom, and front trellis, all designed with a nod to mid-century modern style. Brick and breeze block were used to bring in texture and reference the era’s character. The trellis, located on the north side of the house, is designed to catch southern light, helping to gently brighten the front of the home while adding a distinct architectural feature.
