The project involved lifting the existing heritage house to create a new basement, along with a side addition to expand the living space. Wherever possible, original elements were retained, including the reuse of existing brick, to maintain a connection to the home’s history. Updates to the cladding and interiors were designed to work alongside these preserved features, balancing new construction with the character of the original house.
